Setup/Update EDGE / Helix SMS sync to MyMahi
By following these instructions you will provide your students with a feed from the school’s Edge / Helix SMS to the MyMahi student mobile & web app. The feed provides them with these:

Part 1. For initial set-up only, go to your MyMahi Admin Dashboard
UPDATING A CURRENT SYNC: If you are updating an already existing EDGE sync to MyMahi then go directly to Part 3 below |
You will need access to the MyMahi Admin Dashboard. Login to MyMahi and click on Admin in the menu (see below). If the Admin menu link does not appear then please contact your MyMahi Admin or get hold of MyMahi directly requesting activation by emailing support@mymahi.com
Part 2. Activate the EDGE Integration (in your MyMahi Admin Dashboard)
Part 3. Enable the Edge Integration
- Login to your Edge account.
- Select Admin then Setup. From the Setup options select School Settings.
- Go to the External Providers section and tick the checkbox for "MyMahi: Allow MyMahi to access your data. A notification will be sent to MyMahi when this setting is changed".
- Click Save to confirm the updated setting and send the notification.
Once we receive the notification, we will initiate the necessary configuration.
3. Checking the sync
To check that the sync is successful you should:
Check on MyMahi Admin to confirm that all the data has synced
Ask a student to log in to MyMahi with their school email address and
- check that their My School menu link and data are showing
- check that their School ID is showing on their Profile menu link.
